A brief note to re-introduce my story.
I began to “write” again a few years ago. My life as a writer has been complicated. I am a published poet (don’t ask in what I was published), have had a few short stories published (again, don’t ask . . .), and have a few adult and children’s books started.
I have spent years professionally writing grants and health care proposals, primarily in the Medicaid space. My love of writing Medicaid proposals is because it is not purely technical writing . . . I tell stories. Information is drawn out of clients to build those stories.
In the meantime, I started blogging about one of my dogs with a behavioral issue that caused me to learn more about canine behavior than I ever thought I would know. Unfortunately, work got in the way and that blog fell by the wayside.
A new exercise offered by a friend is prompting me to start blogging again. I am excited to stretch my brain once again and, perhaps, begin again on several writing projects that are sitting and waiting for my return.
We’ll see what happens . . .
